Social Media Training
Tired of sorting through all the hype and conflicting opinions about social media and networking? Having trouble keeping up with all the changes to sites and services? Want to upgrade the investment you’re making in social media? You’ve come to the right place. We do the sorting and analyzing. We map the fundamentals of marketing and business development to the key tools available on the social Web. We keep up with the ever-changing privacy settings, applications, ethical considerations, and new service offerings. We work hard every day to capture the knowledge that allows us to simplify the social Web for our law firm clients. We want to help you too.
Each training is customized and offers a general session followed by small group, hands on training classes for lawyers, marketers, administrators and staff. You may opt for a 1/2 day of training or a full day of training. We also can accommodate split day trainings, i.e. general session in the evening followed by next day early morning small group training classes.
Each training session includes a general briefing on key facts and features of networks, social media and dynamic content. (NOTE: The general session goes under the hood so to speak and beyond the basic awareness stage. Unless a basic class is specifically requested, the general briefing assumes the attendees know what social media and networking is and that they have at least one social networking profile posted on a network.) The general session includes:
- Why social. How is used for business development.
- What is a strong presence.
- Online time management.
- Online privacy, sharing and implications of both.
- What is an online footprint.
- Using the social web for research.
- Best practices, ethical considerations, etiquette and policy.
- What are clients are doing on the social Web.
- Where the social web is heading.
Break out sessions for small groups.
- Build a meaningful profile.
- Manage privacy and application settings.
- Navigate specific tools and sites efficiently.
- Setting up a social dashboard page for time management.
- How to contribute value, insert yourself into conversations, take it off line.
- Human resource issues, policy
Alternately, we can schedule for a group presentation for attorneys followed by an intensive marketing department workshop. A marketing workshop involves open discussion, Q&A, and brainstorming regarding strategy, management techniques, best practices, monitoring, analytics, and tips for coaching attorneys.
Virtual training is also available.
